Sit back Perth people as we have one of the best views for this Saturday’s (June 6) Luna Eclipse (Source)
During this penumbral lunar eclipse, the Earth’s main shadow does not cover the Moon. As the Earth’s shadow (umbra) misses the Moon during a penumbral lunar eclipse, there are no other locations on Earth where the Moon appears partially or totally eclipsed during this event. A penumbral lunar eclipse can be a bit hard to see as the shadowed part is only a little bit fainter than the rest of the Moon. Check the weather for Perth.
Lunar eclipses can be visible from everywhere on the night side of the Earth, if the sky is clear. From some places the entire eclipse will be visible, while in other areas the Moon will rise or set during the eclipse.

|5:04 am Sat, 6 Jun||Penumbral Eclipse ends. The Earth’s penumbra ends.||260°||
* The Moon is above the horizon during this eclipse, so with good weather conditions in Perth, the entire eclipse is visible.

The penumbral magnitude of the eclipse is 0.568.
