We have some very exciting news!! Wolfe Systems are excited to expand our presence in the Northern Territory!
IoT Data Centres (IoTDC) will commence building a $120 million data centre project in the Northern Territory (NT). According to IoTDC, it will position the Northern Territory as a central data and communications hub, connecting both the East and West coasts and the North, into SouthEast Asia.
The state of the art facility is the first of a series of ten other facilities around Australia, and is slated for an early 2021 opening.
In a media release released yesterday, a representative of the NT Department of Trade, Business and Innovation said the Northern Territory Government welcomes private sector investment and is actively working with the IOT Data Centre proponents on the proposal.
“The proposed IoT Data Centre project has the potential to advance the Territory’s goal of being a digital leader in the region through the development of a highly secure, high speed terabit network.”
IoTDC will be working with Vertiv, TotalSecure, Mist, TPG , Intersector Capital and Wolfe Systems to deliver the project.
